6.05 is a record born of grief and shaped by love. A collaborative project between the late Eletun Selona and Martinou, R.O.W.S was conceived over several years as an open, exploratory outlet — a space to lean into heavier, more textured techno and dub influences while remaining grounded in the house sensibility both artists shared.
Following Eletun's passing in 2024, Martinou spent the past year carefully finishing the collaborative pieces left behind, completing this album on St. Odes — the Switzerland-based label founded by Ben Kaczor and Lb Honne — as both a tribute and a means of coping with immense loss.
Eight tracks of deep house and deep techno move with the focused, unhurried conviction of two producers entirely in sync — numerical titles stripping away unnecessary framing and letting the sound speak for itself. Across two records, 6.05 stands as a testament to a collaboration that deserved more time, handled with the care and tenderness it warranted.
