ORDERS & SHIPPIING

Where do you ship to?

We ship to the UK, Europe and Worldwide.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, quantity of items and weight of parcel.

UK SHIPPING

UK orders are shipped using Royal Mail Tracked 24.

- Delivery: 1–3 working days after dispatch
- Tracking link provided
- Compensation up to £50

Orders are dispatched Thursday to Saturday. Orders placed Sunday–Tuesday are typically shipped on Thursday.

Free UK shipping is available on orders over £75.

Orders must be shipped as a single package. All items must be in stock.

EU SHIPPING

Orders are shipped using Royal Mail International Tracked.

Orders shipped to the EU may be subject to import VAT, customs duties and handling fees.

These charges are set by your local authorities and are the responsibility of the customer.

WORLDWIDE SHIPPING

International orders are shipped using Royal Mail International Tracked.

- Maximum parcel weight: 2kg

Delivery times vary depending on destination and customs processing.

How are records packaged?

All records are carefully packed using sturdy mailers and protective materials.

We take care to ensure records arrive safely and in the condition described.

How long does delivery take?

UK: 1–3 working days
Western Europe: 3–10 working days
Eastern Europe: 5–10 working days
Rest of world: 5–20 working days

Delivery times may vary due to customs processing.

Do I need to pay customs fees or import taxes?

Orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and handling fees.

These charges are not included in our prices or shipping costs and must be paid by the customer to release the package.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders are usually dispatched within 1–2 working days.

Shipping days are Thursday to Saturday.

Can I track my order?

Yes - tracking details are provided once your order has been dispatched.

What if my order hasn’t arrived?

If your order hasn’t arrived, first check your tracking information and contact your local delivery depot.

Orders are considered missing after:

- UK: 25 working days
- International: 60 working days
- France, South America, Africa: 90 working days

If your order is confirmed lost, we can issue a replacement where stock is available.

RETURNED PACKAGES

If a package is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Additional shipping charges may apply.

What is a pre-order?

Pre-Orders are items that are not yet in stock.

We ship pre-orders once they arrive at the record store.

When will my pre-order be shipped?

We aim to dispatch pre-orders on or around the release date.

If stock has not arrived with us by the release date, there may be a delay.

Why is my pre-order delayed?

Delays can occur if records are not delivered to us on time by distributors or labels.

We ship pre-orders as soon as they arrive.

How do I know if a record is in stock?

If a release is still listed as a Pre-Order on the website, it has not yet arrived.

Once it moves to the New Records section, it is in stock and ready to ship.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Can I return an item?

Yes - unopened records and unworn items can be returned within 14 days of delivery.

What condition do items need to be in?

To be eligible for a return:

  • Records must be unopened and unplayed
  • Clothing must be unworn, unused and with tags
  • Items must be in their original packaging
  • Proof of purchase is required

Who pays for return shipping?

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

What if my item is damaged or incorrect?

Check your order when it arrives.

If something is damaged, faulty or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible with details (photos where possible), and we’ll resolve it quickly.

When will I receive my refund?

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll confirm whether it’s approved.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method
  • Processing time: up to 10 working days
    Your bank may take additional time

If your refund hasn’t arrived after 15 working days, contact us.

Where is Inverted Audio Record Store located?

Inverted Audio Record Store is located inside Holdrons Arcade, 135A Rye Lane, Peckham, South London. A small, specialist record store focused on underground electronic music.

What are your opening hours?

Thu – Sat: 12:00–18:00
Sun: 12:00–16:00

What makes Inverted Audio different from other record stores?

Inverted Audio is built around deep knowledge and curation.

We focus on underground electronic music and select every record based on quality, context and relevance - not hype.

Alongside the record store, Inverted Audio operates as an independent electronic music magazine, publishing interviews, mixes and features with artists, labels and scenes worldwide.

This connection between editorial and retail allows us to present records within a broader cultural context.

Do you run events or in-store sessions?

Yes - we regularly host in-store sessions, record release parties, club nights, record fairs and events connected to the Inverted Audio community. Email us to enquire.

Do you offer DJ lessons?

Yes - we offer one-to-one vinyl DJ lessons in-store. Lessons are suitable for beginners and those looking to refine their technique.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of vinyl mixing, including beat matching and mixing techniques. All lessons take place at Inverted Audio Record Store in Peckham.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes - gift vouchers are available for use both online and in-store.

Redeemable on records, clothing and cassettes.

RECORDS & COLLECTIONS

Do you buy record collections?

Yes - we're always looking to buy quality electronic, techno, house, and underground vinyl from specialist collectors like you.

Whether you're downsizing, upgrading, or simply need the space, we make selling your collection fast and straightforward.

What kind of music and formats do you stock?

We specialise in underground electronic music, including ambient, techno, house, experimental and leftfield sounds.

All vinyl records, cassettes and CDs are hand-picked by the Inverted Audio team.

Are your records new or used?

We stock both new records and used records. Each product page clearly states the condition.

How do you grade records?

All used records are graded conservatively using the Goldmine Standard. We focus on records that are in "Near Mint" or "Very Good+" condition.

Do you restock sold out records?

Some titles are restocked, but many releases are strictly limited pressings.

We recommend ordering early to avoid missing out.
