Community Cuts: A Monthly All-Vinyl DJ Series at Inverted Audio Record Store
We're excited to introduce Community Cuts, a new monthly all-vinyl DJ series celebrating the record collectors, selectors and music lovers who make up the Inverted Audio community.
Taking place every second Saturday of the month at Inverted Audio Record Store in Peckham, Community Cuts invites our customers to step behind the decks and share their musical taste through a 50-minute vinyl-only DJ set.
From ambient and deep house to dub techno, minimal, electro, IDM and experimental electronic music, the series offers an opportunity to explore different sounds, discover new records and connect with like-minded music enthusiasts.
At Inverted Audio, we believe record stores are more than just places to buy music. They're spaces for discovery, conversation and connection, bringing people together through a shared passion for records.
Community Cuts is our way of celebrating the people who support the shop, giving them a platform to share the music they love, whether they're experienced DJs or newcomers developing their vinyl mixing skills.
Each participant will perform a 50-minute all-vinyl DJ set using a rotary mixer, with every performance filmed and recorded. Selected sets will be published across Inverted Audio's YouTube, SoundCloud and social media channels, giving our community an opportunity to reach a wider audience.
There's no pressure to play a particular sound or style. We're interested in individual taste, thoughtful selections and the stories behind the records.
Community Cuts is also an invitation to spend time at the shop, dig through the racks, discover new releases and meet fellow collectors. Whether you're playing, listening or simply browsing, everyone is welcome. Expect a diverse selection of electronic music, good company and plenty of opportunities to discover something unexpected.
We're now accepting registrations for Community Cuts. Whether you've been collecting vinyl for decades or have only recently started building your collection, we'd love to hear from you.
Complete our registration form to express your interest and select your preferred Saturday. Places are limited, and we'll contact selected participants to confirm their session.
