Priori returns to Berlin's Kynant Records with a 4-track EP packing dubbed-out, eyes-down house and techno, built around dense low-end pressure and patient, hypnotic groove science. The Montreal-based producer Francis Latreille keeps things locked-in and functional, but always rich in texture - chords blooming through haze, delays flickering at the edges, drums rolling with steady, late-night intent.
Opening cut Nesting Chamber features the singular Jamaican voice of Gavsborg (Gavin Blair), adding a smoky, human presence to Priori’s submerged rhythmic architecture. Isolation Dub pushes further into fogged-out dub techno territory, while 9 delivers stripped momentum and minimal drive. Closing track Somewhere Divine rounds the EP off in deeper, more emotional form - warm, spacious and quietly euphoric.
