German producer Florian Kupfer launches his own Lifetrax imprint with a run of sought-after tracks, finally back on vinyl after years out of print. In 2013 a young Kupfer stepped up on Ron Morelli’s blossoming L.I.E.S. imprint with a debut 12" featuring a new classic, the extra vibey Lifetrax, which became one of that year’s highlights and an anthem of the self-established lo-fi house community.
These cuts capture his unmistakable blend of raw, gritty house, hypnotic grooves and stripped-back machine funk. Lifetrax and Feelin open the record, with a Dub Mix of Feelin on the flip before This Society (Betrayal Mix) closes. Four tracks of early underground favourites returning to the turntables, and essential material from one of Berlin’s most distinctive underground producers.
