DJ Koze returns to Pampa Records with the Wespennest EP, a spiritual and surprising two-track journey into rapturous club spheres - his first own release since 2018’s global anthem Pick Up. Always operating in his own universe, Koze once again blurs the boundaries between deep house hypnosis, psychedelic pop surrealism and finely engineered dancefloor pressure.

The EP’s two tracks, Candidasa and Wespennest, were inspired by an extended stay in a secluded Benedictine monastery on the island of Sulawesi - an idyllic setting that pushed Koze into a trance-like creative flow and resulted in music of unimagined depth and beauty.

On the A-side, Wespennest brings the wonderful Sophia Kennedy into Koze’s world, adding radiant lyrical and vocal presence that turns the track into an instant classic of German dance music - mystical, emotionally charged and club-ready in the strangest, most beautiful way. On the flip, Candidasa drifts deeper into shimmering, frequency-shifting electronics: a hypnotic, transportive soundscape designed to enchant the senses and melt time.
