Following standout releases from Pintai label boss Hame and Project Indigo co-founder Boaksi, Brussels-based selector Lola Haro brings DJ Balduin on board for the third EP from her carefully curated label, Small Steps.

A producer based in Leipzig, DJ Balduin is the mastermind behind the labels Mountebank Scientific and GLYK, and he's celebrated for his warm, emotive sound that seamlessly traverses ambient, downtempo, trip-hop, and house. Fresh off the release of his second album, 'Concrete Mimosa' (2023) on Kann Records - a label led by map.ache, Sevensol, and Bender - DJ Balduin now returns with his third solo release.

Described as an attempt to "capture the fleeting moment of the light meeting the dark," 'Everything' embodies the essence of deep house across its three tracks. The EP opens with radiant synths, moves into playful drum work on the second track, and culminates in a poignant, emotionally charged closer. Among the three, 'Andever' shines brightest.
