Ashtar Afterhours is the project of Kenneth Graham, a Los Angeles–born producer whose influence in electronic music stretches back to the 1990s.

Starting his journey in 1984 with a Yamaha CS01, Graham immersed himself early in production and went on to release over 40 records under various monikers — including Estelle Montenegro, KG Beat, and Exit Strategy — as well as collaborative projects such as Sun Children / Sunkiss with David Alvarado, whose releases on Peacefrog remain touchstones of deep and soulful house.

Originally released on Plastic City in 2001, Body Music has long been a Smallville favourite. This reissue celebrates its enduring warmth and depth, presented with new full-sleeve artwork by Stefan Marx.
