Orchestroll - Corrosiv

Corrosiv is the sophomore album from Orchestroll on New York-based record label 29 Speedway. Label: Warp Records – WARPLP21R
Format: x4 Vinyl LP, Fold Out Poster, Sticker Insert
Country: UK
Released: October 4, 2024
Genre: Electronic
Style: Experimental, Ambient, Dark Ambient

Warp Records present a 30 Year Anniversary Expanded Edition of Aphex Twin's long out of print album ‘Selected Ambient Works Volume II‘.

Available in 4xLP format with foil blocked wide spine outer sleeve, fold out poster and sticker inserts, the Expanded Edition includes all songs for the first time, including previously vinyl-exclusive track #19 (Stone In Focus) alongside two additional tracks (officially released and on physical formats for the first time).

Originally released in 1994, ‘Selected Ambient Works Volume II‘ contains Richard D. James’ most famed ambient productions. Legend has it that Aphex Twin produced SAWII whilst living in a bank in Elephant & Castle, experimenting with sleep deprivation, in order to slip into a lucid dream state, the act of being aware of and controlling your dreams, that would enable him to recreate music he had dreamt.

Regardless, 30 years is an awful long time to wait for a repress, whatever the deal Aphex and Warp have made, we are ecstatic to see this masterpiece being reissued.
