Paris-based producer UNCIA, who fled their home country to escape persecution, issues a bold new album on ПИР. Known for blending deconstructed club sounds with cinematic intensity, UNCIA’s latest work reimagines the myth of Medusa as a story of injustice and resilience.

“This album sees Medusa not as a monster, but as a woman unfairly punished,” UNCIA explains. “It’s about power, control, and those left powerless to resist.”

Building on the foundations of their debut, "Rebel", the album pushes deeper into intimate and dramatic territory, blending modular-inspired compositions with the raw energy of deconstructed club beats, evoking comparisons to artists like Caterina Barbieri.

The release also features two exclusive remixes: one from French producer Griigg and another from Funkshn, UNCIA’s longtime collaborator and label mate. Both reinterpret UNCIA’s sound with unique and compelling perspectives, expanding the album’s emotional and sonic palette.
