Intertoto - If I Take You Home (Michael J. Blood Mixes)

What About Never introduces Intertoto with If I Take You Home - a tracky, late-night house instrumental that captures the liminal mood between the club and the afterglow. Bridging the eclectic spirit of the Motor City with the raw, textural sensibilities of European contemporaries like NWAQ and Kassem Mosse, Intertoto filters these influences through the experimental undercurrents of Scotland’s underground.

'Sunday Night Live at The Laptop Cafe' is the follow-up release by James Stinson—best known as one half of Drexciya—to his solo debut album, 'Lifestyles of the Laptop Café', released in 2001 on Warp Records.

Originally released in 2002 via Warp and repressed in 2017 by Clone, 'Sunday Night Live at The Laptop Cafe' is a deep, emotional slice of Detroit techno, blending minimal yet warm, melodic textures with influences from electro and classic machine-funk grooves. The B-side features a remix by DJ Stingray under his Mystic Tribe a.i. alias.

As a founding member of Drexciya alongside Gerald Donald, Stinson helped shape the sound of underground electro from 1992 to 2002. His Other People Place project revealed a more personal, introspective side of his artistry. Tragically, he passed away on September 3, 2002, due to heart complications in Newnan, Georgia, leaving behind an enduring legacy in electronic music.
