The seventh release on the ever elusive Pin label — single sided, clear vinyl, one untitled track and seven minutes of reduced, downtempo dub techno that builds with eerie, spacey intensity from the very first beat. No B-side, no filler, no explanation required. And if you are worried about the blank flip, consider it the perfect surface for calibrating your anti-skating.
SnPLO delivers a piece of music that deepens and darkens with every passing minute — the atmosphere accumulating slowly, the low-end pressure increasing with the patient, deliberate conviction that defines the best of this corner of the dub techno tradition. Reduced in structure, vast in effect. Seven minutes that feel both immediate and entirely unhurried. A Pin release doing exactly what Pin releases do.
