Samuel Rohrer and Ateq continue their artistic collaboration with Mind Games — four tracks that explore the intersection of avant-garde jazz and ambient with the versatility and mutual trust of two producers who understand each other's language completely. Rohrer on drums, percussion, modular synths and keys; Ateq on sampler and modular synths — a combination that produces something genuinely singular, neither purely electronic nor purely acoustic but something that moves fluidly between the two.

Tune Analysis opens the EP with the delicacy of snow falling — elements colliding gently and aggregating slowly, the mood unhurried and entirely focused on texture over momentum. Vuh gives more space to the percussive sounds to express themselves before the B-side deepens the inquiry — Multi Besso driving the same percussion into a more organised rhythm and meditative incantation, Unpeak closing the record with the elegant synthesis that the whole EP has been building toward. Four tracks, four distinct movements, one cohesive and quietly absorbing statement.
