Round Three – Acting Crazy

Sale price£20.00 GBP
IN STOCK

Label: Main Street Records – MSR-06
Format: Vinyl, 12", 33 ⅓ RPM
Country: Germany
Released: 1995 / 2025 Repress
Genre: Electronic
Style: House, Dub Techno

Round Three is another alias/project of Mark Ernestus and Moritz Von Oswald (Basic Channel guys again) — but their Main Street Records output was different: While Basic Channel was pure minimalist techno/dub, Main Street focused more on dub-inflected house music with vocals.

"Acting Crazy" features vocals from Tikiman (real name: Paul St. Hilaire), a singer from Dominica who became a crucial part of the Berlin dub-techno scene. Acting Crazy still sounds timeless — it's a huge influence on later dub-house, dub techno, and even ambient soul scenes.
