A reissue of a previously sold-out dubplate from Kino Disk — Rotation is a collaboration between New York-based producer Eden Aurelius and kindtree, American artist and member of the group Purelink, operating together as Ring. Two sides of floating, textural ambient dub techno that clearly found its audience first time around and deserves to reach a wider one now. Limited copies.
Rotation 1 and Rotation 2 unfold with the patient, immersive quality that defines the best of the Kino Disk catalogue — unhurried, atmospheric and carrying the kind of subtle, slowly shifting depth that rewards sustained listening at volume. Two complementary pieces from a collaboration that sounds entirely natural, the two producers finding a shared language with the ease of artists who clearly understand each other’s instincts. Floating, textural and essential for followers of the label.
