Intertoto - If I Take You Home (Michael J. Blood Mixes)

What About Never introduces Intertoto with If I Take You Home - a tracky, late-night house instrumental that captures the liminal mood between the club and the afterglow. Bridging the eclectic spirit of the Motor City with the raw, textural sensibilities of European contemporaries like NWAQ and Kassem Mosse, Intertoto filters these influences through the experimental undercurrents of Scotland’s underground.

Mo Kolours’ EP1: Drum Talking arrives as a richly textured collection of rhythm-obsessed vignettes, blending street-wise sampling with organic percussion and soulful distortion.

The opener, “Intro”, sets stage with warm nuance and anticipatory hush. “Bakiraq” rolls next with off-beat drums and nods to Sega memory, before the title track “Drum Talking” lanes out straight, percussive and direct. “Biddies” and “Dead of Night” explore voice and atmosphere in shadowed registers, while “8 Hours” pushes into stretched loops before “Outro: I'm The Drum” closes with a reflective echo of ritual.

Across seven tracks, the EP feels like a journey through dusk and dawn - sunlight filtered through fragments, beat-driven and hauntingly human.

A1. Intro
A2. Bakiraq
A3. Drum Talking
A4. Biddies
B1. Dead of Night
B2. 8 Hours
B3. Outro: I’m The Drum
