"Genau House" is a three-track EP by Russian-born, Berlin-based electronic music producer Machine Woman (Anastasia Vtorova), released on May 13, 2016, through the UK label Where To Now?.
The EP marks Vtorova's shift towards more dancefloor-oriented music, incorporating elements of house and techno while retaining her experimental edge. "I Can Mend Your Broken Heart," inspired by unsuccessful Tinder dates, features dub chords, layered percussion, and Vtorova's whispered vocals.
"Friday Night" presents a darker atmosphere with pitched-down vocals and a driving beat. The EP concludes with a remix by German producer Kassem Mosse, who reinterprets "I Can Mend Your Broken Heart" by slicing and scattering Vtorova's vocals over a gentle halftime pulse.
