Intertoto - If I Take You Home (Michael J. Blood Mixes)

What About Never introduces Intertoto with If I Take You Home - a tracky, late-night house instrumental that captures the liminal mood between the club and the afterglow. Bridging the eclectic spirit of the Motor City with the raw, textural sensibilities of European contemporaries like NWAQ and Kassem Mosse, Intertoto filters these influences through the experimental undercurrents of Scotland’s underground.

Lutto Lento's FTD001 feels like a found-object EP - five short pieces rescued from tape and given a brusque, tactile vinyl presentation.

Opener "I Remember I Was Dreaming" acts as a quick, disorienting palate cleanser; "Sirena" rides an eerie vocal loop and watery sway; "Gipsi Sam" skews toward fractured percussion and clipped melody. The B-side expands the mood: "Prima Porta" burrows into hushed, hummed fragments, while "The Boat Can Leave Now" closes with a surreal collage of voice and toy-like interjections that lingers in the head.

This is record-collector fodder for those who prize texture and surprise over straightforward hooks - tape hiss and edits are part of the charm, and the sequencing rewards repeat plays rather than instant gratification. Small, weird and memorably idiosyncratic.
