A double-sided dancefloor weapon from Voyeurhythm — a label with an unerring ear for this kind of material, and this 2013 release is one of their finest. Initially the B-side was the draw, but the A-side tears the dancefloor upside down in its own right. Both sides, different moods, maximum impact.
The A-side delivers Linkwood's remix of Biscuit Twat — a huge track, entirely at home in the more driving, peak-time end of deep house and disco, the remix treatment adding Linkwood's characteristic warmth and groove to N. Moore's original production. Francis Inferno Orchestra's 3AM Piano Thing on the flip is a different proposition entirely — a banger in the best sense, quite different from FIO's other dreamy, string-filled disco productions, the piano-led energy hitting with an immediacy and rawness that makes it impossible to resist. Two sides, one essential record.
