Vertex is a label collaboration between Verdant Recordings [Andy Green] & Exalt Records [Jamie Bargeman] releasing underground electronic music across the deep spectrum.

Their fourth release is from the studio of Havantepe (Ismail Genc) highly regarded for his elegant, meticulously produced deep techno that has been moving dance floors and satisfying discerning minds for the last 2 decades.

Havantepe is the stage name of Turkish-German producer and DJ Ismail Genc, co-founder of the Sublime Porte label. Born near Stuttgart, Germany, he moved to Istanbul in 1994 and has been producing and playing techno since 1999. 

Releasing music on a variety of imprints including Dutch label spclnch, 200 Records and Baum Records, his latest record lands on Vertex, a label collaboration between Verdant Recordings (Andy Green]) & Exalt Records (Jamie Bargeman).

Consisting of three solo tracks and two remixes, 'Rain on Window' blends minimal dub techno with atmospheric electronics, primed to enthral the most discerning of listeners.

Overcast is sublime, emotional electro based percussion layered with signature Havantepe feels and melodies. For Rain on Window and Condensation the bpms are taken higher for head down dub techno stompers.

Verdant regular Stojche contributes a brilliant version of Rain on Window, acknowledging the truest flavours and spirit of dub editing. Insiders Ulf & Ralf make their debut vinyl appearance with their atmospheric bealtess, ‘Cloudburst’ reconstruction of Overcast.
