Florian T M Zeisig's Music For Parents belongs firmly to that tradition. Recorded in Berlin between 2019 and 2020 and arriving on Métron Records, the album is the product of serious research into low-frequency sound, rest and nervous system regulation — and it shows in every slow-moving, carefully considered moment.
Performed using Korg Wavestation, Korg EC150, Singing Bowl and SUBPAC S2, the record balances texture, space and physical resonance with a precision that never tips into clinical detachment. Slow-moving bass structures anchor minimal harmonic density, the whole thing unfolding at a pace that asks something of the listener — a willingness to be still, to let the sound do its work.
