Montreal-based imprint Doo return with a new two track 12" from Excalibur and DJ Spence. Titled Medium Rare, the release glides through stripped-down, hazy techno meanderings designed for shuffling around the home listening session or soundtracking the downtempo corners of oddball club nights.

Both tracks move with a subtle, hypnotic pulse — reduced, warm and quietly trippy — blurring the edges between DJ tool functionality and laid-back late-night listening. The record has been mastered by Mike Grinser. Medium Rare is pressed in a limited run of just 300 copies, adding to the cult aura surrounding the label’s quietly idiosyncratic output.
