A compact but unrelenting cut from Forbidden Planet’s lab - FP-005 distils Dan White’s affinity for murky textures and taut, resonant rhythm into a four-track 12-inch. 

The opener, “Death Flutes”, unfurls with a brooding melodic strain that gurgles beneath stacked percussion, as if metallic reeds echo in a factory. “Ba2 Fin” shifts gears—leaner and more urgent, it pinches the pulse tighter and leans into shadowy repetition. Flipping to the B-side, “Agent Cooper” swims through minimalist loops and acidic slither, conjuring déjà-vu and detachment in equal measure. 

The closer, “Human Hologram”, pushes abstraction further into spectral territory—glitch and distortion mashing into the skin of neurotic rhythm. A brief but precisely sharpened statement—untidy yet deliberate, eerie and effective.
