With four tracks built around fractured rhythms and a focus on texture, Clap sees Dale Cornish honing in on repetition as a form of techno meditation. 

The opener, “Oolovka,” dives into log-jam percussion that makes you feel the mechanics behind each beat. “Cxema” expands in sideways motion, its synthetic pulses scuttling like fractured echoes. “Isolate” strips the motif down, looping like distant machinery. The EP closes with “Before Encore,” where tension folds into release, all with Cornish’s signature minimal lens sharpening each moment toward near-absence.
