Detroit dub techno mainstays cv313 deliver Lost Sequence EP, a deeply immersive release from the collaborative project of Stephen Hitchell and Rod Modell. Originally issued in 2014 and remastered for this limited clear vinyl pressing, the record captures the duo’s signature analogue warmth, cavernous low-end and hypnotic atmosphere.
The A-side features Lost Sequence, drawn from their celebrated Japan-only live recordings, unfolding through drifting pads, submerged rhythm and expansive delay trails. On the flip, a rare live interpretation by Intrusion strips the material back even further, letting oceanic bass pressure and modulated high-end textures breathe within a vast field of space and echo.
Remastered by Stefan Betke (Pole) at Scape Mastering in Berlin from the original session tapes, this is quintessential echospace sound design — a masterclass in depth, repetition and dub techno immersion.
