Label: Arcola – Arc 15
Format: Vinyl, 12"
Country: Europe
Released: 23 Nov 2018
Genre: Electronic
Style: House
Condition: Near Mint

Originally active in 2003-2004 as an abstract dance-oriented offshoot of Warp, Arcola marked its relaunch (just shy of its 15th birthday) as a ltd 12-inch imprint that uses the format to explore the spaces where contemporary electronic music meets 'club music' in 2018 and beyond.

Having made his mark in recent years in both techno and post-punk scenes with releases on Regis's Downwards as one half of DVA Damas and on Berlin techno institution Frozen Border, L.A. artist Joe Cocherell debuts his freshly levelled new project, Bone Head.

Soft Power is the debut release of a new sound and style for Joe, one that musically is influenced by import 12"s and YouTube rips of grime, early 00's dubstep, and drum & bass, but mutates them into his own unique sound and style.
