Thirteen years is a long time to wait. Since Tomorrow's Harvest arrived in 2013 — itself a record that felt like a transmission from somewhere beyond ordinary time — Boards of Canada have maintained their characteristic silence, the anticipation around any possible return becoming something of its own mythology. Inferno ends that silence, and it does so on its own terms entirely.

Spanning seventy minutes across two LPs, the album draws the threads of the brothers' recent esoteric interests into their most fully realised and darkly atmospheric work to date.
