Miami-based artist Domingo Castillo Flores and Colombian-born Mónica Mesa (performing as Doris Dana) reunite as Bad LSD Trips for their sophomore album, ‘Ultrafest‘. Recorded and arranged between Miami and New York in 2023, ‘Ultrafest‘ weaves a hypnotic array of experimental electronics, inviting listeners into an open temporal architecture of the stereo field – exploring unconventional electro-acoustic techniques, field recordings, and fragmented voices, creating a richly textured and lysergic soundscape.

Released on the boundary-pushing American imprint enmossed, this limited-edition album arrives on an 8-track recycled colour vinyl, housed in oversized jackets silkscreened with bespoke iridescent citrus green ink by Mark Rice. The package also includes a Flexi 7” featuring an extended mix of ‘Steaming Mescaline‘. True to enmossed’s ethos, the meticulous craftsmanship and hand-finished details set this release apart, elevating it beyond the standard of most record labels.
