Released in June 2014 on the UK label Public Information, I W I is a five-track EP by Chicago duo Acteurs (Jeremy Lemos and Brian Case). It marks a confident and aggressive progression from their debut, blending austere modular electronics with wave-funk, industrial and post-punk textures. 

Tracks such as "Pride of Classes" and "Honey Bear" build intense sonic atmospheres from droning synth pulses and feedback squall, while "River Card" and the title track "I W I" deliver lo-fi, visceral rhythmic propulsion and abrasive urgency.
