15 selections from John Lee Richardson's treasure trove of archival drum & bass tracks have been curated by New York's Dance Data for 'Illegal Rave Tapes Selektion - 1999 - 2012'. This marks the first vinyl collection for Richardson's Acrelid project.

The collection brings together the cream of the crop from 133 tunes originally issued by Richardson's Indifferent Space imprint. Showcasing classic drum & bass, jungle, and IDM, 'Illegal Rave Tapes Selektion' is both a perfect refresher for old heads dusting off their rave gear and an ideal introduction for newcomers curious about the genre.

Included with the vinyl release is a zine designed by Acrelid, which recontextualizes "thatcheraian-era anti-rave news propaganda and 90’s UK culture" into a love letter to the 90's rave culture they grew up with.
