This Record Store Day, we're doing something a little different. Instead of centring the day around exclusives and limited pressings, we're opening the decks - and handing them over to you.
From 12:00 to 21:00 on Saturday 18 April, we'll be hosting a series of 50-minute vinyl sets played by customers and regulars. No headline act, no fixed programme. Just a day shaped by the people who actually spend time in the shop.
All sets will be played on the rotary mixer. We're keeping it slow and considered - flow over performance, always.
If you've ever stood at the counter and thought about what you'd play, this is your chance. The format is open, the entry is free, and everyone who plays gets 10% off records on the day.
To help keep things flowing behind the decks, Orbit Beers are supporting the event with Nico Lager - a gluten-free and vegan-friendly beer - available to quench the thirst of selectors throughout the day.
Record Store Day was always meant to be about community. This is our version of that.
