L0N3R is a new imprint from French artist Elise Massoni — conceived as a space for inward movement, rooted in creativity practiced in solitude. The label's name and its founding philosophy are inseparable: an only child, Massoni frames music-making as a form of retreat, building intimate worlds and translating emotional and psychological textures into sound. The debut EP sets the tone with precision and quiet conviction.
Reference Point presents four tightly wound techno tracks that reject common stylistic statements in favour of something more personal and considered. Groove-led and stripped back, the structures allow rhythm to carry warmth and openness rather than force or aggression — sparse melodies and harmonies adding vibrancy and reinforcing a sense of closeness even within forward motion. Moral Disorder stays most reduced, rhythm dominant and melody held at arm's length. Other tracks allow chords and harmonies a more central role, shaping the groove from within and giving the record its warmer, more expressive passages. Shedding Fade stands slightly apart — a darker bassline taking the lead and carrying the track's story with a quiet authority that lingers.
