Brixton Brewery Record Fair

Brixton Brewery Record Fair
Record Fair2 min read

Saturday 15 July, Inverted Audio Store and Out Of Joint Records team up to host a record fair at Brixton Brewery Taproom, offering new and used vinyl, cassettes, clothing, craft beer and local food, plus deejay sets from Antepop and OOJ residents Coops and Ben.

Having forged a close friendship with the Leicester-based record store during the pandemic, resulting in an in-depth record store feature published in 2022, we are delighted to invite the OOJ crew to join us in South London for a one-time record fair at Brixton Brewery Taproom, bringing a wealth of vinyl, cassettes and clothing from The Trilogy Tapes, Good Morning Tapes, Natural Sciences, Tresor and loads more.

Established in the summer of 2018, Out Of Joint Records was born out of frustration from having to rely on the internet or travelling outside of the Midlands to acquire records. A small unit, formerly a bong shop, with cheap rent became available in the heart of Leicester at Unit 2 Malcolm Arcade, next to the former site of BPM Records, stocking experimental electronic dance music, dub, reggae, avant-garde and leftfield music.

Located at Arch 548 Brixton Station Road, Brixton Brewery offers locally-crafted beers and modern classics with a Brixton twist - telling the story of Brixton in their names, vibrant designs and flavours. Established in 2013, Brixton Brewery are dedicated to their craft of brewing award winning ale's ranging form Lagers, Pale Ale's, IPA's and Limited Edition Brews. They love bringing people together and we're proud to be part of this.

Brixton Brewery Record Fair opens at 12:30 and ends at 19:00. After that we’ll be on the decks playing extended blends of the finest electronic music, deep house, dub, reggae and experimental music. Music ends at 23:00. Register for a Free Ticket and receive a Free Beer upon arrival.
