Alongside fellow Detroit legend Terrence Dixon, who appears on several tracks, Atkins outputs a biomorphic atmosphere of industrial soul that remains as vital and as singular today as it did on first release. The ongoing importance of this album to both techno and to Tresor is indisputable — and now back on wax for 2026.

Skyway and Walking On Water open the A-side with the sleek, machine-driven elegance that defines Atkins’ Infiniti aesthetic before Thought Process, Electric Circus and Postcard From The Future push the record into more complex and emotionally charged territory. The ten-minute Body Oil dominates the C-side with the kind of extended, immersive groove that only comes from a producer who has spent decades understanding exactly how rhythm and texture interact at depth. Coffeeshop Interlude and Coffeeshop Connection bring a rare warmth and intimacy before Subterrainea closes the record in the subterranean depths where Atkins has always felt most at home.
