The remixers approach the source material from wildly different angles, each one finding something distinct within the same set of stems — and the results are as cohesive as they are unpredictable.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDJ Trystero takes the slow drum machine jam of Toku No Minato and delivers two versions: one all frills, one stripped back with old school Detroit drum programming. YPY twists Yasashii Sayanora into a nearly nine-minute industrial dub, warping Corker's bass, Barton's Thai gongs and Tujiko's voice into strange new shapes. London's DJ ojo builds a blissful dubbed-out groove around harp glissandi from a child's toy and metallic percussion, while Shojiro Nakaoka contributes two generative code-based excerpts of Shakou — browser-based work generating endless shifting tides of abstracted sound with a strong dub flavour. Tashi Wada closes the album as the only remixer to preserve the full vocal performance, reframing Tujiko's lilting Aurora Sagashi as a nocturne, re-harmonising her lullaby-like lines to the sway of his organ playing.
